Desert Skies’ campus in Vail worships at the Arizona Senior Academy, located in the Academy Village community, just off Old Spanish Trail at 13715 E. Langtry Lane.  As you enter Academy Village, follow the signs to the Arizona Senior Academy. Greeters will be ready to welcome you, answer your questions, and help direct you to the worship space. Before the service, we invite you to stop by Christ Café, located just inside the main entrance, and enjoy a refreshment. We offer gluten-free snack options each week to help accommodate a variety of needs. Feel free to bring your refreshments into the worship space and enjoy them at one of the round tables. Tables also include activities for children and youth to help them engage with and connect to the service.

What to Expect

Our worship services typically last about an hour and include a meaningful blend of contemporary worship and traditional music. You can also expect times of purposeful prayer, reflection, and a 15–20 minute message designed to inspire and encourage. We offer opportunities to continue exploring what you’ve heard through service, small groups, and meaningful connections within our community.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are! Our atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and we encourage you to wear whatever makes you comfortable. Some people enjoy dressing up, while others prefer to keep it casual—you’ll see the full range at every service. Our hope is simply that you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We welcome new guests every week and are always happy to answer your questions or hear your thoughts after the service.

What About My Kids?

Children and youth are an important part of our church family! They begin worship in the Sunday School Room, where they can participate in a special Children’s Time. Following that time, kindergarten through middle school students are invited to continue with age-appropriate learning and activities in spaces created especially for them.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children and youth can learn, grow, ask questions, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Middle school and high school students from both campuses gather on Sundays at 4:00 PM at St. Paul’s UMC.
