Stephen Ministry is a complete system for lay caring ministry in our congregation. Stephen Ministry lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and any others facing a crisis or life challenge. Stephen Ministry helps our pastors and congregation by providing a quality, caring ministry for as long it is needed.
Stephen Ministry provides one-to-one ministry by trained, caring lay ministers for those who are experiencing:
Loneliness
Loss of spouse
Retirement changes
Chemical dependency
Unemployment
Anxiety and depression
Parenting problems
Childbirth
Hospitalization
Separation and divorce
Grief
Terminal illness
Being shut-in
